Ponda-bound KTC bus breaks down at Vasco

Vasco: A Ponda-bound KTC passenger bus broke down, partially blocking half of the road, a few metres away from the KTC bus stand at Mundvel, Vasco on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occured a few minutes after its departure.
The reason behind the failure could be due to a technical snag in the engine, sources said.
Passengers travelling to Ponda alighted from the bus after the driver failed to get it restarted, causing them major inconvenience.
In the past few months too, similar cases were reported as several KTC buses plying on various state routes encountered technical snags.
