Karnataka: Dasara Kavigosti on October 3

MYSURU: Kendra Sahitya Akademi president Chandrashekhar Kambar will inaugurate the Dasara Kavigosti on October 3. Writer HS Shivaprakash will preside over the Kavigosti.
Speaking to reporters, M Dasegowda, special officer for Dasara Kavigosti subcommittee informed that 40 poems in different languages including Tulu, Kodava, Arebashe, Sanskrit, and Konkani will be recited at the event.
Dasara Kavya Sambhrama will be organised on September 28. As part of this event, a folk song programme will also be held.
On September 30, Yuva Kavigosti will also be held. As many as 40 poets will recite their poems. Another Kavigosti for students and young writers will also be held on the same day, he explained.
