Bentley Mulsanne sedan which was reported stolen from the United Kingdom was recovered by Customs officials in Karachi, Pakistan. Based on information from the UK intelligence agency, the raid was carried out by the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement (CCE) to recover the car.
This particular Bentley Mulsanne is powered by a V8 with automatic transmission along with a VIN SCBBA63Y7FC001375 and engine number CKB304693. First, the car was found parked near DHA, Karachi and after the physical confirmation the customs team carried out the raid. The registration of the vehicle has also been forged.
According to the sources, the Luxury car was stolen in London a few weeks back and the people involved managed to import the car to Pakistan using documents of a top diplomat of an east European country the diplomat is said to have now been recalled by his government. The Customs official said they are still searching for the main mastermind in the whole racket.
According to local media reports, the officials then took the owner of the residence and the broker who sold him the vehicle into custody after the house owner failed to provide adequate documents.
