Bihar registers 118 new Covid cases in 24 hours

PATNA: The state on Saturday recorded 118 new Covid-19 cases against 1,11,068 samples tested. Meanwhile, 167 more people people recovered from the virus in the state in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of active Covid cases in the state has come down to 716.
Of 118 new cases recorded on Saturday, Patna accounted for 61 and Muzaffarpur 18. Some other districts reported cases in single digit, while 18 districts did not report any new case.
Patna had 396 active Covid cases on Saturday, followed by Bhagalpur (53), Munger (33) and Muzaffarpur (28).
Meanwhile, 15.18 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the state so far, including over 7.30 crore first dose, 6.64 crore second dose and 1.23 crore precautionary dose.
