To boost public transport, JDA okays plan for 4 bus bays in city

Jaipur: Working on chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s budget announcement for year 2022-23 to improve public transport facilities in the city, Jaipur Development Authority on Friday approved a plan to construct major bus bays in four directions of the city. JDA will work with Rajasthan State Bus Terminal Development Authority on land proposals, which will be sent to the state government.
The decision was taken on Friday during a meeting of the Land and Property Disposal Committee of Jaipur Development Authority.
On Ajmer Road, officials said it has been decided to prepare a proposal for allotment of 8584.35 sqm land out of commercial or institutional plot and send the plan to the state government. JDA also decided that a proposal for allotment of land 10,000 square meters in Science Tech City near Achrol village will also be sent. Near Kanota village, JDA will propose allotment of 10000sqm. The fourth proposal will be sent for Ring Road project.
