Meenakashi Lekhi credits PM Modi for India becoming 5th largest economy

Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakashi Lekhi on September 03 hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi after India overtook United Kingdom to become the fifth-largest economy in the world. She expressed optimism towards India’s future. Meenakashi Lekhi said, “To attract the attention of the Opposition, I would like to say ‘Modi Hai To Mumkin Hai’. Before 2014, we were in ‘fragile five economies’. It's a huge feat to become the 5th largest economy and surpass an economy like Britain from that position. We are also surpassing China in emerging markets.”
