Glenn Thorsen Joins FCM Consulting as Sustainability Lead

(01 September 2022, 11:08 +07)  FCM Consulting has appointed Glenn Thorsen as Sustainability Lead.

Glenn will lead a new dedicated customer-facing practice specialising in sustainability.

His arrival represents the first significant structural change made by consultancy head Jo Lloyd, as she reshapes the business for post-pandemic success.

“Glenn’s entrepreneurial mindset, passion and deep knowledge of this incredibly important area will be invaluable in supporting our customers on their sustainability journeys,” Jo Lloyd said. “As the customer and industry facing voice of the sustainability pillar within FCM Consulting, he will apply his considerable expertise to help our clients get the best out of their programmes and achieve their goals. I know he will make an immediate impact.”

Based in Denmark, Glenn begins his new position this month, strengthening a global team of experts spanning key areas such as travel sourcing, program optimisation, payment solutions and more.

Previously Head of Partnerships for Thrust Carbon, Glenn is a well-known and respected figure amongst the global sustainability community.

A natural innovator with a strong start-up and enterprise background, he brings wide-ranging consultancy skills honed across a diverse range of industry sectors mostly within the lifestyle tech space to this new role.

Along with his consulting responsibilities, Glenn will support FCM’s internal efforts in this key area, collaborating with Global Sustainability Officer Michelle Degenhardt as she further develops and oversees the execution of strategies to deliver on the organisation’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives.
