Global names such as Starbucks, NASA, Domino's and more have joined the trend which was originally kickstarted by Amtrak, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation.

Someone from the train company's social media team made a one-word tweet on their official handle on Thursday which has inspired a whole new trend.

The tweet was followed by Wendy's 'burgers', Dr. Pepper's 'soda', FedEx's 'packages', and by the end of Thursday, US President Joe Biden was part of the trend as he tweeted 'democracy'.
The one-word tweet trend also took off in India as master blaster Sachin Tendulkar joined the list with his tweet 'cricket'.
Not only this, but brands such as , Swiggy, Myntra, Uber India, and more have also made similar tweets as part of the ongoing trend.

Paytm tweeted 'UP', whereas Swiggy wrote 'food', it's competition in the food delivery sector, Zomato, went with 'GharKaKhana'. Indian e-commerce brand Myntra tweeted 'fashion'.

Uber India on Friday joined the trend by tweeting 'journeys'.
Previously, global organisations such as Starbucks, Domino's and NASA had tweeted words such as 'coffee', 'pineapple' and 'universe' respectively.
Seeing the massive craze behind the one-word tweet trend, the social media executive working for Amtrak surely deserves a raise for influencing the whole Internet.
