Varanasi: The newly appointed
Bharatiya Janata Party (
BJP) state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary on Friday claimed that the party will win the upcoming civic as well as the 2024
Lok Sabha elections.
In his maiden visit to Kashi after assuming office of the state chief, Chaudhary was interacting with party workers at the BJP’s regional office in Rohaniya area on Friday. He also held a joint meeting of the city, district and regional units where he boosted the confidence of the party workers of Kashi region unit.
He said that the people have reposed faith in the able and efficient leadership of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and that is why they have given the party a three-fourth majority.
He also mentioned how political parties struggled to get two-third majority in Lok Sabha and assembly polls before 2014.
He further stated that following its agenda, the BJP government has been successful in giving
Uttar Pradesh a riot-free, corruption-free, fear-free society and is touching new heights of development.
“The hardworking workers of the BJP will bring unprecedented results in the upcoming civic elections and Lok Sabha elections by taking the achievements of the government to the people through contact and dialogue,” he added.
Earlier, Chaudhary was accorded a warm welcome from the party cadre on landing at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International airport on Thursday night. He reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Friday morning to offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
