Myanmar's Suu Kyi sentenced to three years for electoral fraud: Source

Suu Kyi, who was deposed last year by the military, has been charged with 11 counts of corruption, each punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

A Myanmar junta court sentenced ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi to three years in jail for electoral fraud, a source with knowledge of the case said Friday.

Suu Kyi was "sentenced to three years imprisonment with hard labour", the source said, adding that the Nobel laureate, 77, appeared to be in good health.
