Madras HC quashes ED summons to minister Senthil Balaji

CHENNAI: In a reprieve to Tamil Nadu electricity minister V Senthil Balaji, the Madras high court has quashed the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an alleged money laundering case.
A division bench of Justice T Raja and Justice K Kumaresh Babu passed the order on Thursday, while allowing a plea moved by Senthil Balaji and B Shanmugam and R V Ashok Kumar - two other accused in the case.
