JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 9.83%), Parag Milk(up 5.89%), Vadilal Industries(up 4.72%), Jyothy Labs(up 1.39%), DFM Foods(up 1.24%), Dodla Dairy(up 1.00%), P & G Hygiene(up 0.68%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 0.41%), ADF Foods(up 0.28%) and Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 0.20%) stood among the top gainers.
Dangee Dums(down 6.05%), Bajaj Consumer(down 1.55%), Zydus Wellness(down 1.49%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 1.43%), Umang Dairies(down 1.18%), Varun Beverages(down 1.02%), Nakoda Group(down 0.96%), Nestle India(down 0.87%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 0.74%) and Tasty Bite Eatables(down 0.74%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 3.35 points down at 17539.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 36.74 points at 58803.33.
ITC(up 1.75%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.69%), HDFC(up 1.67%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.44%), HDFC Bank(up 0.91%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.84%), Enterprises(up 0.82%), Axis Bank(up 0.81%), NTPC(up 0.68%) and State Bank of India(up 0.64%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 2.84%), Shree Cement(down 2.31%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.79%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.67%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.45%), UPL Ltd(down 1.41%), Reliance Industries(down 1.17%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.16%), Bajaj Auto(down 1.11%) and Tata Motors(down 1.1%) closed in the red.
