Shares of Prestige Estates Projects(up 2.14 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.27 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.4 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.08 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.3 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.23 per cent), DLF(down 0.83 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.46 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.18 per cent down at 467.35.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 3.35 points at 17539.45, while the BSE Sensex stood up 36.74 points at 58803.33.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 ended in the green, while 35 closed in the red.
Shares of , JP Power, , Zomato Ltd. and Tata Tele were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of EIH, , Omax Autos, GMM Pfaudler and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , , , and CSL Finance hit their fresh 52-week lows.
