Stalking case: 19-yr-old held for conspiring to kill minor
A 19-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stalking and hatching a conspiracy to kill a 16-year-old girl in south Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area. Cops said the accused, Amanat Ali, was nabbed from Trilokpuri area on Wednesday and booked under IPC Section 307 (attempt to murder) at Tigri police station. Two of Ali’s associates, one of whom had allegedly fired at the girl, were arrested earlier. TOI had earlier reported that the accused and the girl belonged to different communities and he had initially concealed his identity and his name when he interacted with her. When she found out, she stopped talking to him. Police said Ali then plotted to kill her.
