Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 3.38 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 1.91 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.44 crore), NCL Research(number of shares traded: 0.69 crore), GVK Power Infra(number of shares traded: 0.69 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.64 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 0.62 crore), (number of shares traded: 0.61 crore), Reliance Home Fin(number of shares traded: 0.53 crore) and Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 0.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 15.45 points down at 17527.35, while BSE Sensex was down 46.16 points at 58720.43 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.80 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent), .(up 1.03 per cent), & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent) and .(up 0.98 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 2.25 per cent), .(down 1.65 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent), .(down 1.10 per cent) and .(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
