CM's flying squad raids illegal Aadhaar centre in Gurugram, 1 held

GURUGRAM: The CM's flying squad and local police arrested a person who illegally printed Aadhaar cards in Shivaji Nagar area of Gurugram . Police said for making an Aadhaar card without any ID, the man would charge Rs 300 per person.
The accused has been identified as Babul Kumar, a native of Jharkhand who is currently living in Shivaji Nagar. The team recovered Rs 3.63 lakh cash, a CPU, laptop, two hard disks, two scanners, an HP colour printer HP, an HP black and white printer and two fake Aadhaar cards from his shop named Ram Communication.
Kumar was caught red-handed after an official posed as a customer. ESI Samay Singh went to his shop to get a fake Aadhaar card. After about half an hour, when his Aadhaar card was ready, Singh alerted the team who raided the shop and arrested Kumar.
The accused has been booked under IPC sections 420 (cheating and dishonesty), 467 (forgery of valuables), 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating) and 471 (using as genuine a forged document).
"We've arrested the accused. Further investigation in the case is on," said a police officer from Shivaji Nagar.
