Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:50AM

Agro Phos(up 9.92%), Madras Fertlizers(up 4.01%), Coromandel International(up 3.60%), National Fertilizer(up 3.48%), Sikko Industries(up 1.85%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.82%), & Fertilizers(up 1.58%), KRISHANA(up 1.38%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.19%) and & Chemicals(up 1.01%) were among the top gainers.

& Petrochemicals(down 1.37%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.72%), Aries Agro(down 0.33%) and Fertilizers (down 0.07%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 103.55 points down at 17655.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 378.93 points at 59158.14 at around 10:50AM.

Bajaj Finserv(up 3.35%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.67%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.35%), Asian Paints(up 1.97%), Eicher Motors(up 1.53%), State Bank of India(up 1.24%), Grasim Industries(up 1.21%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.18%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.18%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.05%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 2.56%), Hindalco Industries(down 2.51%), Tata Consultancy(down 2.24%), Infosys(down 2.07%), Reliance Industries(down 1.68%), SBI Life(down 1.61%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.57%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.37%), HCL Technologies(down 1.28%) and Tata Steel(down 1.11%) were trading in the red.
