Engine vibration: IndiGo Udaipur-bound flight safely returns to Delhi

NEW DELHI: An Udaipur-bound IndiGo flight had to return to Delhi within an hour of taking off from here following engine vibration on Thursday evening.
The aircraft, an Airbus A320neo, landed safely and has now been grounded for checks. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is probing this latest case of engine trouble.
Comments have been sought from IndiGo and are awaited.
"The aircraft (VT-IJO) operating as 6E-6264 experienced some vibrations in engine number 2. It returned to Delhi safely and has been grounded," said a senior DGCA official.
