ENNG cadre caught in Arunachal’s Longding dist

Dibrugarh: An Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG) cadre was caught in Zibo Colony of Arunachal Pradesh’s Longding district two days ago, officials said on Wednesday.
Based on intelligence input, Assam Rifles’ Longding Battalion along with the state police conducted an extensive search in the area.
During initial interrogation, the cadre confessed that he was involved in motivating the youths of the district to join the militant outfit, the Assam Rifles said in a statement. He has been handed over to Longding police.
His arrest has come as a major setback to the insurgent group active in the region.
