133 new Covid cases in Bihar

PATNA: Bihar registered 133 fresh case of Covid-19 and one death in the last 24 hours, as per the statement issued by the health department on Wednesday evening.
Fresh cases apart, 126 people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of persons recovered from Covid-19 so far in the state up to 8,35,129.
The total number of active cases of Covid-19 patients in the state stood at 856.
The Covid recovery rate in Bihar at present stands at 98.45%, while the corresponding national rate is 98.67%. The deaths due to Covid-19 in Bihar so far stand at 12,295.
Meanwhile, 89,275 people were administered different doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the last 24 hours. As of now, over 15.08 crore Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the state, including over 7.29 crore first dose, over 6.61 crore second dose and 1.17 lakh precautionary doses.
