Ludhiana: Registration camp for ZED scheme held

LUDHIANA: One day awareness and registration camp was organised by micro small and medium enterprises (MSME) development and facilitation office Ludhiana at the Auto parts Manufacturer Association (APMA) office. Several senior officials of the MSME department and dozens of businessmen were present for the occasion.
G S Kahlon, president of the APMA, said, “The event was held to create an awareness about the MSME’s sustainable ‘zero defect zero effect’ certification scheme. The ZED scheme is aimed at manufacturing goods with zero defects and at the same time to ensure that the goods have zero effect on the environment.”
