Dumka murder case: Section 144 to remain in force in city

The Dumka administration said on September 1 that situation in the city which saw tension over the horrific murder of a 16-year-old girl was under control but section 144 would still continue to be in force. While speaking to ANI, area SDM said, “Looking at the current situation, some relaxation has been given. Section 144 will remain applicable only in Dumka city and Jaruwadih (deceased house) area.”
