2 nursing staff suspended for taking bribe

Berhampur: The MKCG Medical College and Hospital authorities suspended two nursing officers on Tuesday for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 500 from a patient’s relative. Bharati Behera and Jyostnamayee Biswal allegedly took the bribe from the brother of a patient after she gave birth to a baby boy. The duo returned the amount after the patient said she was a relative of another nursing officer of the hospital. They also tendered an apology. TNN
