Kamaal R Khan gets hospitalized; NCW seeks action against KRK for making derogatory remarks against women

In connection with an alleged defamatory tweet posted by him two years ago, Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, was arrested by Mumbai police after he arrived from Dubai on August 29. Now, the National Commission for Women has asked Maharashtra Police to book KRK for making derogatory remarks against women. In a tweet, NCW wrote, '@NCWIndia has come across a few posts of Kamal R Khan making derogatory remarks about women on social media. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to @DGPMaharashtra to book him under relevant provisions for his comments on women. Action taken must be apprised to the Commission'. KRK was sent to 14 day judicial custody after he was produced before a Mumbai court on Tuesday. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
