Mollywood actor Joy Mathew has never failed to impress the audience even by performing supporting characters in any kind of movie and now the actor is all set to headline his next gritty-mood thriller movie ‘La Tomatina’ and the recently released trailer promises a twisted yet torture filled ride into a very scary world filled with characters that have some underlying dark shades. The 2 minutes 15 seconds trailer for ‘La Tomatina’ sets a different kind of world that has advanced technologies and Joy Mathew’s opening monologue says, “Dear viewers, We are going through an undeclared state of emergency.” Later several torture sequences and violence are shown with a symbolic intercut of someone slicing a tomato (which surprisingly has red color equalling to blood). From the few glimpses shown in the trailer for ‘La Tomatina’, it can be understood that the film is trying to convey a socially relevant topic in a very thrilling manner.‘La Tomatina’ comes with the tagline ‘Red, Food, Torture’ and is directed by Sajeevan Anthikad under the script penned down by the writer T Arunkumar. Manjulal is roped in as the cinematographer and the editing section will be handled by Venugopal. Arjun V Akshaya is the music composer for ‘La Tomatina’ and the songs will be crooned by Arjun V Akshaya and Katherin.‘La Tomatina’ boasts a strong cast where the actors Joy Mathew, Sreejith Ravi and Kottayam Nazeer will be playing the lead characters and the rest of the cast includes Ramesh Raj, Maria Thompson, Harilal Rajagopal, Sajeevan Thanapadam, Korattiparambil Premjith, and Sreejith Peringayi.
