PATNA: Leading personalities from different organisations will interact with the IIT students with innovative ideas in technology at the fourth edition of TEDx (Technology, Entertainment, Design) event to be held on September 3 and 4.
Centred on the theme of "infinite affinities", the two-day event aims to celebrate the spirit of unity and togetherness among the youths and to convey how their actions inspire others to be a part of a better and brighter India, said IIT public relations officer Kripa Shankar.
The grandeur of this event is expected to increase further with the 'Fun Fair' to be organized on September 2. It will be a grand event with panoramic photo- shoots and theme paintings spread across the campus. Many attractive prizes will be given to the participants.
However, the main event will begin on September 3 with the interaction of students with eminent personalities from different fields. Altogether seven keynote speakers will guide and inspire students with the stories of their inspiring journey.
These eminent personalities include Javed Khatri, entrepreneur and founder of the mobile developer App 'Kustard', which was acquired by eBike Go for $2 million. He also holds a place in Forbes 30 under 30 Asia, 2022. The second resource person will be Phani Tetali, professor and former head of IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay. As the founder of Animatix Studios, he has the reputation of being a jury member at the FICCI Frames Best Animation Film Awards in 2008 and 2009.
The third speaker will be Narayan Mahadevan, start-up specialist and well-known technologist with a deep understanding of Mobile and Cloud Space. The fourth speaker will be Sriparna Saha, one of the eight leading women scientists in artificial intelligence (AI) in India and recipient of Google India Women in Engineering Award in 2008. The fifth resource person is Alakh Pandey, founder of India's leading Ed-tech PhysicsWallah. His humble beginnings from recording video lectures in a rented room to being the founder of India's 101st unicorn, will be inspirational to the students.
The sixth resource person is Kalyan Jyoti Kashyap, professionally known as Klanz, who creates electronic music with a touch of Indian classics. With hits like Baahi and Bohai to his credit, he has created a niche in the field of Indian music. The seventh resource person will be Sridharan Devarajan, an Associate Professor in the field of Cognition, Computation and Behaviour at Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore. Being an expert in large-scale computing, Devarajan conducts lab studies to unravel the enigma of the human brain, Kripa Shankar said.
