Mumbai: 75% Ganpati festival discount on bus passes; more overnight bus services for revellers

MUMBAI: On the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi, BEST announced an offer where users of the BEST Chalo app can avail a 75% discount on the Rs 799 Super Saver Plan and get it for just Rs 199. The special digital bus pass offer entitles the passenger to 50 trips of up to Rs 20 each, and is valid for 14 days.
BEST general manager Lokesh Chandra said : "The offer is aimed to encourage more Mumbaikars to experience the convenience of digital tickets. It can be availed by both new and existing users of the BEST Chalo App."
Simply download the Chalo App and find the offer in the ‘Bus Pass’ section of the app. Select the Ganesh Utsav offer, enter your details and upload your photograph. Make an online payment of Rs 199 via debit or credit card, net banking or UPI to purchase the plan, he said.
BEST also announced three more overnight bus services from SoBo to Oshivara, Vikhroli and Shivaji Nagar in addition to 25 special services for revellers in south and Central Mumbai. The buses will operate from close to midnight up to 6am, an official said.
