
NEET 2022 Answer key LIVE Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the official answer keys for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022 today. The answer key will be available on the official website – neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download NEET official answer key for all codes.
Along with the answer key, NTA will also release the NEET OMR answer sheets of the candidates. Using the NEET answer key and OMR answer sheet, candidates can calculate their approximate scores. Candidates will be given time to challenge the NEET answer key 2022.
As per the marking scheme, four marks are awarded for every correct answer and one mark is deducted for an incorrect one. Using the NEET marking scheme and formula below, students can calculate their aggregate NEET 2022 scores.
This year, a total of 18.72 lakh candidates registered for the exam, which is the highest number of registered candidates for any entrance examination in the country. The number of candidates within India was maximum in Jaipur (52,351) and minimum in West Sikkim (105). Similarly, the number of candidates outside India was maximum in Dubai (646) and minimum in Thailand (6). The test was held across 3,570 centres in 497 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

Step 2: Click on ‘View and challenge answer key, OMR and response sheet’ link
Step 3: Enter the application number, password and security pin
Step 4: Click on ‘view/challenge answer key’
Step 5: NEET answer key mentioning answers to the questions for particular code will be displayed on the screen
Step 6: Go through the answer key of the code and verify answers.
Step 7: Using the NEET official answer key by NTA, evaluate the scores to be obtained in the medical entrance exam
After the NEET UG results, the next crucial step in getting into a desired medical college is through counselling, which is conducted for two quotas; 15 per cent All India Quota and 85 per cent state quota. The counselling for NEET 15 per cent AIQ seats is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in for all government medical and dental colleges, as well as deemed and central universities. The counselling for NEET 2022 85 per cent state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state authorities on their websites.
NEET UG 2022 result will be announced on September 7. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check the answer key and score at the official NEET website — neet.nta.nic.in. According to the official notification, the National Testing Agency will upload the provisional answer keys, scanned images of OMR answer sheet and recorded responses for NEET (UG) – 2022 on the website for candidates to challenge.
After the release of the provisional answer key, candidates will be given some time to raise objections against the provisional answer key. The last date and process of challenging the answer key will be released by the NTA along with the answer key. Candidates will be able to calculate an approx score with the help of the answer key.
The counselling for NEET-PG 2022, which was scheduled to begin September 1 onwards, has been further delayed in order to add more seats. The examination for the current session of post-graduation medical courses was held on May 21, with the results being announced within 10 days. Read more

This year, NEET UG was held across 3,570 centers in 497 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. The examination was also conducted for the first time in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore along with Dubai and Kuwait City.
Candidates will be able to raise objections after paying Rs 200 for each answer key challenge (non refundable). They will also be given an opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question challenged.
The NTA will upload the provisional answer keys, scanned images of OMR answer sheet and recorded responses for NEET UG 2022 on August 30. Candidates will be able to check the answer key at the official NEET website — neet.nta.nic.in. Additionally, a scanned image of the OMR answer sheet will also be sent on the registered e-mail address given by the candidates.
The NEET UG 2022 exam was held on July 17 and a total of 18.72 lakh candidates registered for the exam, out of which the NTA claims that 95 per cent of the candidates appeared for the nation-wide medical entrance exam.
