Exhibition on freedom fighters launched in city

Ranchi: “The country should be made aware about the freedom fighters.” Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda said this while inaugurating a five-day multimedia photo exhibition on Sunday.
Organised by the Regional Office of the Central Bureau of Communications under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the Ranchi University, the event will continue till September 1.
The Azadi Quest Online Mobile Game App, which was launched on August 24 by Union youth affairs and information and broadcasting minister Anurag Thakur, will also be promoted at the event.
Akhil Kumar Mishra, the additional director general of the Press Information Bureau, Ranchi, said, “The exhibition will showcase the sacrifices made by our ancestors to earn our country’s independence. Players will learn about the contributions made by the national and local freedom fighters.”
