
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1564.45 points up at 59537.07 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Piramal Ent.(down 45.08 per cent), GCM Capital Adv.(down 13.06 per cent), Suditi Ind(down 10.36 per cent), S M Gold(down 9.98 per cent) and Alan Scott Industrie(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 50 stocks closed in the green, while 0 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 446.4 points up at 17759.3.
On the BSE, ., , , Aspira Pathlab & Dia and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , Network Ltd and D & H India touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
