Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Igarashi Motors(20.0%), Sat Industries(20.0%), Nagpur Power(20.0%), Best Agrolife(20.0%), 5Paisa Capital(19.99%), India Cements(19.98%), Tata Tele(19.97%), M M Rubber(19.96%), Essar Shipping(19.93%) and Ushdev Intnl(19.91%).
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1564.45 points up at 59537.07, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 446.4 points up at 17759.3.
In the Nifty50 index, 50 stocks closed in the green, while 0 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as , , , Network Ltd and D & H India hit their fresh 52-week high, while ., MSR India, , Aspira Pathlab & Dia and touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
