47L in state yet to get second Covid dose, 10L in Jaipur

Jaipur: Bundi and Pratapgarh are the only two districts where 100% of the people are fully vaccinated with first and second dose, while Jaipur is at the bottom of the list with lowest vaccination coverage of second dose of Covid-19 vaccine in 18+ category.
In Jaipur, the target for first dose vaccination was 50 lakh, but the health department administered 54.4 lakh doses, thus achieved 108% target. But, for second dose vaccination, people did not come in that numbers in which they received the first dose.
Against 54.4 lakh first doses administered, 44 lakh have received the second dose in the city, which means that 80.9% who have received the first dose have also received the second dose. The percentage is lowest in the state. In Jaipur, 10.4 lakh people are those who have received the first dose, but they have not received the second dose yet.
Besides, 99.1% of the state’s eligible population is now vaccinated with the first dose, out of those, 90.6% have received the second dose. Still 9% of those beneficiaries who have received the first dose are yet to receive their second dose. In the state, 47 lakh people who have received their first dose, but they have not received their second dose yet.
