The NSE Nifty index traded 242.8 points down at 17316.1, while BSE Sensex was down 814.63 points at 58019.24 as of 10:14AM(IST)on August 29.
In the Nifty index, .(up 1.32 per cent), .(up 1.11 per cent), .(up 0.60 per cent), .(up 0.47 per cent) and Ltd.(up 0.46 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 5.01 per cent), .(down 4.13 per cent), .(down 3.57 per cent), .(down 3.44 per cent) and .(down 3.26 per cent) were among the top losers.
