Prayagraj: Saints and seers associated with Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have announced their new focus – a society without untouchability among Hindu community, checking religious conversions (love jihad), ghar vapsi and connecting families and generating good manners.
These issues were discussed by the prominent seers and saints at length while attending the VHP’s Kashi Prant Margdarshak Mandal’s meet at the ashram of Jagatguru Swami Vashudevanand Saraswati in Alopibagh area on Sunday.
Akhil Bharatiya Sant Sampark Pramukh, Ashok Tiwari said “ In current scenario, the Hindu community is facing three major issues including Love Jihad, connecting of families (Kutumb Prabodhan) and untouchability”. He further sought the guidance of seers and saints appealing them to come forward and take measures to resolve these serious issues.
Chief guest Jagatguru Swami Vashudevanand Saraswati on the occasion said, “Seers and saints should come forward to create mass awareness among Hindu community and they should also work for protection, conservation and promotion of temples and Matths”.
Swami, however, said “ Creating awareness is the key to resolve the problems of Hindu community. There was also need to develop good manners among people within the families.”
Saints and seers also focussed that they would have to bring people back to the fold who had somehow left the mainstream of the Hindu society.
