Ashapura Minechem(down 3.51%), KIOCL(down 2.69%), Pokarna(down 2.27%), MOIL(down 1.61%), 20 Microns(down 1.55%), Oriental Trimex(down 1.54%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 1.49%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 0.96%), Aro Granite Industries(down 0.93%) and Coal India(down 0.72%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 254.55 points down at 17304.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 861.61 points at 57972.26 at around 10:55AM.
TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.97%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.91%), Britannia Industries(up 0.61%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.51%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.38%), Shree Cement(up 0.32%), Nestle India(up 0.31%), Reliance Industries(up 0.14%) and Enterprises(up 0.07%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 4.15%), Infosys(down 3.92%), HCL Technologies(down 3.34%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.17%), Wipro(down 3.01%), JSW Steel(down 2.96%), Tata Consultancy(down 2.78%), Tata Motors(down 2.72%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 2.63%) and Tata Steel(down 2.52%) were trading in the red.
