Two trucks collide, one dies in Barmer

Jaisalmer: Two trailers collided with each other around 500 metres away from Rageshwari police station (RGT) in Barmer district on Sunday. One driver died on the spot while driver and cleaner of the other trailer were seriously injured. Both injured after the first aid were referred to the high centre.
There was heavy traffic jam on both sides of the road after the accident and the vehicles were removed with the help of a crane.
According to RGT police, on Sunday two trailers collided with each other.
Trailer driver Gurmeet Singh, a resident of Faridkot, died on the spot while Gurpalsingh and Iqbal, residents of Majitha, were seriously injured.
The injured were admitted to Gudamalani hospital from where both were referred to the high centre. The body of the deceased has been kept at Gudamalani mortuary. The family members have been informed.
The jam was cleared after an hour. According to ASI Ranaram, further action will be taken after the family members of the deceased come. tnn
