Patna: Couple killed over fight between kids

PATNA: A man and his wife were gunned down by the miscreants and three others were injured in Patna City after a fight between kids on Friday night.
The incident took place at Mansoorpur Lodipur village under the Khusrupur police station area in Patna City area around 9pm when two groups got into a fight after their kids argued with each other while playing in the neighbourhood.
One Arun Singh and Buddha Singh fought with each other over the matter. However, the locals pacified them and the two returned home. Later, Buddha allegedly entered Arun's house along with his associates. They fired several rounds, killing Arun (51) and his wife Manju Devi (46) on the spot. The couple's two kids and a local were injured in the firing. DSP Rajesh Manjhi and Khusrupur police station incharge Chandra Bhanu reached the spot after the incident and camped in the village.
Police recovered the bodies of the couple and sent them for postmortem to PMCH. The police recovered dozens of empty shells from the spot.
SHO of Khusrupur police station Chandra Bhanu said police have registered an FIR in connection with the case against 10 persons and raids are on to arrest them.
