India's latest Chief Justice - judge Uday Umesh Lalit - joins a very exclusive club that only has five other members. Justice Lalit will become the sixth member of the judiciary to serve a tenure of less than 100 days.

Sworn in on Saturday, Lalit will be in office till November, a tenure of just 74 days.

Supreme Court judges are required to retire once they hit 65 years of age, while High Court judges retire at 62.
