Shefali Shah explains why 'disrespect' is a deal-breaker and a clear indication to stop in any relationship. She says that it is indeed difficult for you to identify disrespect at an early stage. Because it starts off very light, be it in the form of humorous comments or jokes.

But with time, it grows and it is no more fun as it has crossed certain levels of tolerance. If you feel that something is disrespectful, be it a silly act or some statement. Don't hold back as it can be a serious problem, ruining the relationship.

Shefali Shah further added that if you have some insecurity or issue with your partner's behavior, talk and don't think of the reactions. 'Disrespect' in any form, be it words or an act of humor, is a big red flag in any relationship.

"Respect isn't told but felt, what makes you insecure is indeed a matter of concern, and communication in any relationship can solve problems and improve the health of any relationship," she further added.

And the internet strongly agrees with Shefali Shah on this opinion.
