Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.46% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:09AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

DLF(up 1.3 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.86 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.83 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.69 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.53 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 1.46 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.46 per cent at 457.55 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 124.35 points at 17646.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 381.84 points at 59156.56.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 were trading in the green, while 6 were in the red.

Shares of , , Zomato Ltd., and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Syrma SGS Technology Ltd., SKP Bearing Industries Ltd., Total Transport Sys, Fidel . and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Veekayem Fashion & Apparels Ltd., , , and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
