Home minister likely to launch Dance Drama on India's glorious past

Home minister Amit Shah on Friday is likely to participate in the screening of a dance drama on India's glorious past, importance of the country's sovereignty and the nation's future.

The event titled Dholavira to Narendra Modi being performed by top artists of the country at the Siri Fort being held by the Delhi Public School Society, Ghaziabad and Sela Qui International School is being supported by the ministries of I&B, culture and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

Om Pathak, chairman, DPSG Society and also a senior BJP office bearer said the event will showcase the best traditions of Indian States, and send across a message of unity to school students.

The programme is part of the government's efforts to get society involved in organising events to commemorate Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav.
