
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 223.51 points up at 59308.94 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Alan Scott Industrie(down 19.98 per cent), Ritesh Prop(down 10.00 per cent), GKP Printing & Pack(down 9.99 per cent), Aravali Sec Fin(down 9.83 per cent) and Ltd.(down 9.82 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks traded in the green, while 10 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 72.4 points up at 17677.35.
On the BSE, , , , and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Goel ., Sky Gold, , and touched their fresh 52-week highs.
