Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:39AM

Sikko Industries(up 9.98%), & Fertilizers(up 6.55%), & Fertilizers(up 5.82%), Aries Agro(up 5.64%), & Fertilizers(up 5.64%), National Fertilizer(up 4.56%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 4.53%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 3.09%), Madras Fertlizers(up 2.62%) and Agro Phos(up 2.56%) were among the top gainers.

Coromandel International(down 3.88%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 89.35 points up at 17694.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 295.86 points at 59381.29 at around 10:39AM.

SBI Life(up 2.16%), UPL Ltd(up 1.92%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.41%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.3%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.27%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.16%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.16%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.14%), Coal India(up 1.1%) and State Bank of India(up 1.0%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Cipla(down 0.83%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.5%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.5%), Enterprises(down 0.49%), HCL Technologies(down 0.36%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.26%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.22%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.19%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.17%) and Tech Mahindra(down 0.11%) were trading in the red.
