AIA Group looks to establish life insurance asset management company in China

HONG KONG : Asia-focused insurer AIA Group is actively looking at establishing a life insurance asset management company in china, its CFO told Reuters during an interview following its half-year results.
The unit, once set up, will mainly manage the insurer's proprietary assets, according to the CFO, who did not give a timeline for the initiative.
