Fruit vendor stabs cousin to death in Kota dist, arrested

Kota: A 19-year-old youth was stabbed to death by his cousin in Vigyan Nagar police station area of Kota city on Wednesday morning.
The father and two brothers of the deceased sustained injuries while attempting to save him. The deceased youth, Sufel, suffered a deep wound in his heart when the accused, Rashid, 20, stabbed him with a fruit-cutting knife outside City Mall at around 9:30am, said Vigyan Nagar police station circle inspector Devesh Bhardwaj. Sufel was rushed to hospital, where he was declared brought dead, he added. Both Sufel and Rashid hail from Kannauj city in Uttar Pradesh and worked as fruit vendors in Kota. tnn
