INDORE: A 35-year-old man who was deep in debt after taking an app loan killed his wife and children, aged 1.5 and 3 years, and then died by suicide at their home in Indore's Banganga area on Tuesday.
Police found a suicide note which hints at harassment and intimidation of his family by loan sharks. According to police, the note left by Amit Yadav says, "I am unable to repay the app loan but the loan is on the man who took it, and not his family members."
Amit worked as a mechanic. Police said his wife Tina had returned from Ujjain after offering prayers to Lord Mahakal around midnight on Monday. After dinner, the family went to bed. Neighbours became concerned when no one from the family was seen all day. The door was locked from inside and the house was deathly quiet. Neighbours then informed Yadavs' relatives at 3.30pm, who called police. tnn
