NEW DELHI: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will approach the capital market next month to raise funds for road projects, road transport and highways minister
Nitin Gadkari said on Tuesday.
Gadkari said, "Initially, there will be four projects on offer and this money will be raised through InvITs. There will be an investment limit of Rs 10 lakh per retail investor, with an assured return of 7-8%."
He was addressing a session organised by industry body
Ficci. He added the aim is to allow common salaried class to invest savings in one of the most trusted schemes and give them good returns.
