Reportedly, YouTube will soon be having the Mosaic Mode that will allow each YouTube subscriber to view four live feeds on their smart Android TV by dividing the screen into quadrants. It may also introduce YouTube shorts for your smart TV.

According to the reports, the giant video sharing and social media platform, YouTube, is working to add its short-form video app ‘YouTube Shorts’ to YouTube TV, which is the smart TV platform created by YouTube that offers live TV, on-demand video and much more.

Moreover, the company has started to inform its partners about YouTube short’s support in YouTube’s app that runs on Android TV and on Google TV.

On a regular basis, YouTube shorts is reported to reach around a staggering 30 billion views. And this number is growing exponentially, according to reports.

With multiple streaming services vying for your attention, it’s no surprise that on-demand video is seeing a massive uptick in subscribers. Reports also suggest that the smart TV platform ‘YouTube TV’ is also planning to add a new feature that’ll be named ‘Mosaic Mode’. In this mode, viewers would be able to simultaneously watch around four live streams on the smart TV monitor.

Though, YouTube is coming up with short-form videos for the smart TV platform, they are not the first service to do so. For some time now Tiktok, the short-form video hosting service is experimenting with smart TV interfaces.

As per the reports, YouTube will be able to allow subscribers to view up to four live feeds after gaining the Mosaic Mode. And the four live feeds would be presented simultaneously on the smart Android or Google TV by the diving screen into four quadrants.
