Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Wednesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, & Aroma Industries Ltd.(14.4%), Shivalik Rasayan(13.43%), Shreyas Ship(13.11%), Ruchira Papers(12.55%), Gautam Gems(11.46%), Space Incubatrics(11.45%), Sakthi Finance(11.45%) and Ltd.(11.27%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 43.54 points up at 59074.84, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 16.9 points to 17594.4.
In the Nifty 50 index, 22 stocks traded in the green, while 28 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , , , Ritesh Prop and Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , , Karda Const and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
