BENGALURU: A 34-year-old businessman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly hacking his wife to death at their residence in TC Palya, KR Puram.
The accused is John Supreet, who runs a tent shamiana house, and the deceased was his wife Nancy Flora, 30, a homemaker. Police said Supreet suspected his wife of having affairs and that led to frequent fights between them. The couple lived on the first floor of their house, while Supreet's parents stayed on the ground floor. The couple has two sons.
The murder came to light around 6pm when the children and their grandparents heard screams from the first floor. They found Nancy lying dead in a pool of blood and Supreet standing next to her body. He left the house and surrendered at KR Puram police station. He told cops he took a machete and hacked her to death.
